The true story of Maciej Berbeka, Alek Lwów and Andrzej Zawada trying to reach the title summit in 1988. It was then, after months of preparations and thousands of dollars spent, that an international winter expedition set out to conquer the most difficult mountain in the world, K2. Unfortunately, the mission was unsuccessful, but two Poles come up with the idea of conquering the neighboring Broad Peak.
