A husband and wife go into a shoe store for each to buy shoes. The clerk that assists the wife is so enamored with her that he slips her a note in her newly purchased shoes for her to meet him later. But it isn't the wife that finds the note but the angry husband, who vows to kill the clerk if he finds her with his wife. The clerk, in trying to escape from the wrath of the husband, gets into one predicament after another.
