Give the Devil His Due

In one small principality live all those who must not be absent in a proper fairy tale. The aging prince, who is tired of ruling, his two daughters - the mischievous, puffed-up Angelina and the modest, beautiful Adélka, the cunning administrator who only cares about how to fill his own purse at the expense of the princely treasury, the honest Peter, who is hated by his evil and greedy stepmother Dorota Máchalová is trying to deprive the administrator of her native mill. And there is also hell, which carefully monitors all bad deeds and takes decisive action at the right moment. And so when the time is up, the young devil Janek is sent to bring the evil Dorota to hell. However, he accidentally brings Peter's good grandmother, and when he tries to correct the mistake, he ends up with Peter in the princely army. He, for a change, was fleeing from the intrigues of the administrator and would have escaped the crows, but then he stopped because he saved the prince's daughters at the risk of his life when he stopped their carriage with frightened horses. Petr and Janek become friends and Petr offers to help the devil complete the task. Even with two, however, it will not be easy, because Dorota always has some feather at hand that is a disaster for the devil.
