Having just arrived in Africa to become the new head of the hospital, Jana Lorenz is called to look after a shepherd who has been hit by a car on a street belonging to two antagonistic tribes, the Fhaskhars and the Jahkausvs. However, they maintain a pact that has given them stability and peace.
