The successful young author Thomas Winter is in the middle of a creative crisis. To gain distance, Thomas goes skydiving - and falls! As if by a miracle he survived, but in the face of death Thomas has a vision: He sees his future life happening in his mind's eye and thus learns that he is to be murdered on November 11th.
