In the heart of the German occupation, in the difficult and turbulent years that indelibly sealed the life of an entire generation, the action of the story unfolds, with the main characters a couple of bourgeois, Dimitris and Dora Kalligeris. The couple's life changes radically. For Mrs. Dora, one revelation follows another: Faces that impress her come home. Situations alternate, which on the one hand frighten her and on the other fill her with excitement and hope. At some point comes the drama, which will seal its existence.
